Pionki, is a town with over 20,000 residents, located in central Poland, Mazowieckie Voivodship, Radomska Plain, in the heart of Kozienicka Forest, 100 km from Warsaw, 20 km from Dęblin.
The location of the town at the edge of Kozienicka Forest, among rich flora, unique landscapes, as well as the well-developed sport and recreation infrastructure are the factors promoting the recreational offer of the town. The greatest asset of the Forest is its natural abundance of fauna and flora. The forest is mainly comprised of mature oaks and firs.

The natural values of the region are protected in 7 forest reserves, one national reserve and one peat reserve. The area of 45.535 ha, directly adjacent to Pionki, constitutes the Kozienicki Landscape Park. In the Park, visitors can find numerous rest stops.
Although Pionki enjoys an ecologically attractive location, the town is an industrial one, dominated by the chemical sector. The town has a developed technical infrastructure, very good fixed line and wireless telephone networks, it is fully connected to the gas network and operates an urban and industrial wastewater treatment plant. With its industrial and labour force potential, Pionki is considered to be one of the most attractive investment locations in the voivodship.
